Gray envelope with "Louis Armstrong" on it in red letters. On the back, Louis has written "Waif's home N.O.L.A. / On the Riverboat." Inside of envelope contains clippings of photos of Louis as a teenager on Fate Marable's riverboat and at the Colored Waif's Home in New Orleans. Clippings were probably intended for Louis's collages. |
