Track 5: Louis tries to get a woman to sing; Thompson sings "That's My Desire"; Track 6: Louis tells a dirty joke; Track 7: Louis tells a story about [Argo?] Hotel, riding around with Slim and June Clark in their Packard; Joe Glaser would furnish it; they didn't work as much back then; Louis would type letters; "Kenny" and "Cedric" and "Mr. and Mrs. Sibley" are present; Louis mentions that June Clark and Jackie Mabley (Moms Mabley) is coming over later; Track 8: Slim Thompson sings "I've Got the World on a String"; Track 9: Louis tells the story about "All of Me," coming back from Europe and going to Mike's and watching Slim lead "40 cats" in singing the tune along with Armstrong's recording; Track 10: Slim Thompson sings "All of Me" exactly like Armstrong's 1932 recording; Track 11: Louis tells a story about a trip from Europe; Louis and Alpha were coming back to America on the Majestic and promised to take an English trumpeter to Big John's in Harlem; when they got there, everybody had nicknames except the trumpet player so someone called him "Majestic Face"; Track 12: Louis and Slim sing "On the Sunny Side of the Street"; Track 13: Louis sings "Just One More Chance"; Slim mentions that he started with Louis in 1931 and how they would sing lyrics like "dirty motherfucker"; someone made a record off of it; Track 14: Louis sings "A Song was Born"; changes tempo; Armstrong sings Jack Teagarden's chorus but can't remember the lyrics; Louis sings Dvorak's "Going Home"; Slim joins him; Track 15: Louis tells a story about "Soldier Boy" (driver); when Louis made the film "New Orleans," they had strawberry shortcake for dessert at the commissary; Soldier Boy asked for "whupped cream"; Track 16: Slim tells a story about Louis and pork chops; they reenact the story and do it a few different ways, "mugging" more and more each time, cracking everyone up; Track 17: Louis cues up another tape; "Knee Drops" (fragment); plays a tape of Lucille telling a story from Victoria, Texas, getting hung up on the punch line of a joke (original tape can be found at 1987.3.220).
