Description |
Photocopy of a two-page typed letter (and envelope) Louis wrote to Joe Glaser on September 8, 1955. Louis opens by thanking Glaser for "all the wonderful things that you have done for your boy" and talks about a television show he did with Gary Crosby and some Decca recordings he made with Benny Carter. Louis talks about how he made up a diet chart and had 1,000 copies made up ("You'd be surprised the way this chart is sweeping the country.") Louis describes the diet to Glaser and talks about Swiss Kriss. Louis mentions that clarinetist Edmond Hall just joined the band and praises him as "one of the very best there is, on the Clarinet." |
