Collage on front of tape box features news clipping about "The Five Pennies" while the back of the box includes text from an early edition of "Lose Weight the Satchmo Way." This tape is continued from 1987.3.0038 and is another mix tape, with Billy May recording from 1957, followed by tape of Christmas in Corona on December 25, 1957. The rest of the tape seems to be entirely from 1954-55. Louis most likely spliced together one tape from 1954 and another from 1957 when doing his 1959-1961 re-cataloging of his tapes. |
