Box containing eight different address books kept by Lucille over the years. Includes a black book pertaining to Louis's funeral with the names and addresses of the major names who sent something after Louis's death (such as President Richard Nixon, Bing Crosby, Dizzy Gillespie and many, many others). Makes notes on who sent flowers, mass cards, etc. One older book with an orange cover with fake jewels includes entries for Willie Armstrong, George Avakian, Dave Brubeck, Prince Gary and many others. |
