Description

12-inch acetate disc (with Presto label) featuring Side 8 of an interview with Louis for the "Record Changer" magazine's July-August 1950 birthday tribute to Louis. The interview was conducted in Louis's Corona, Queens home and features Louis speaking frankly about music and musicians to "Record Changer" editors Bill Grauer and Orrin Keepnews, their wives Luci Keepnews and Jane Grauer, and Lucille Armstrong. Interview took place in the spring of 1950 after one of Louis's late shows at the Roxy Theater.
