Description |
Scope: Originally meant to be cataloged in ”Tape Catalog #2, Part 1” (see Manuscripts, 1987.2.23), but Louis passed away before entering it. According to the handwritten tape contents sheet located in the original tape box, this tape contains part of Louis's February 10, 1971 apperance on the "David Frost Show" with Tyree Glenn. It also includes Louis's Februray 22, 1971 apperance on the "Dick Cavett Show" with his All Stars (Tyree Glenn, Joe Muranyi, Marty Napoleon, Milt Hinton and Jo Jones). This is followed by a dub of the Stockholm Stompers sound recording "Hot Onions," produced by Gosta Hagglof. The rest of the reel contains Spanish recordings and dubs of sound recordings by Rolf Wahl and Neil Diamond.
