This folder contains four letters from Hal Davis, president of Grey and Davis PR, to Lucille Armstrong. The first letter, from June 27, 1973, expresses his excitement at being able to help Lucille, thanking Phoebe Jacobs for introducing them. The second letter, from February 4, 1974, contains Davis planting the seeds for a possible trip abroad, first with George Wein to Nice and maybe on a State Department sponsored tour. The next letter, from April 25, 1974, confirms that Budapest, Warsaw and Poland are interested in having Lucille visit. The final letter, from June 8, 1977, is regarding Lucille being named as the first "Gordon's Vodka Good Gal." |
