Scope: Recordings of music from the musical, "Purlie". Recording of the sound recording, "Demos" (Kustbandet) (Swedish Orchestra). Recordings of sound recordings. Originally cataloged in "Tape Catalog #2, Part 1" (see Manuscripts, 1987.2.23). Collage on front of tape box includes a packet of Swiss Kriss and a photo of Louis onstage with Edmond Hall and Velma Middleton. Back of tape box includes a photo of Louis and Lucille Armstrong with "writer of 'Blueberry Hill'" (probably Larry Stock but it could also be either Al Lewis or Vincent Rose).
