Description |
Scope: Audio letter to Joe Glaser made at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Letter is read to Madeline and Hughes Panassie. Louis wrote the words "Joe Glaser" on front of the box. Collage on front of tape box features photo of Louis singing onstage with Velma Middleton, as well as two offstage photos of Louis wearing sunglasses. Photo on back of the box is of Louis at the piano, surrounded by fans. Tape box restored by NEDCC in 1998.
