Description |
This folder contains undated letters from Jeann Failows. Contents include: short, typed letter from Jeann Failows to Louis at the Seville Theatre in Montreal, wishing him luck there and praising his appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show (no date); half-typed/half-handwritten letter from 1956 mentioning Perry Como, Fabian Fox, Willie "The Lion Smith" and more; a typed sheet of humorous scenes starring Louis and Lucille (this was together with the previous letter and the typing is similar, but no proof that this is actually from Failows); postcard featuring a drawing of Louis and various notes by Failows on the back, addressed to "Louis The King Dressing Rm 25, Roxy Theatre, 7th Ave, NYC"; two handwritten lists, "Books to Buy" and "Records," both written in Failows's hand and originally included in a pile of Jack Bradley's papers with these other letters. |
