Scope: Recording of "Satchmo: A Musical Autobiography." Originally meant to be cataloged in ”Tape Catalog #2, Part 1” (see Manuscripts, 1987.2.23), but Louis passed away before entering it. Collage on front of tape box includes photos of Louis and Duke Ellington and Velma Middleton. Collage on back of tape box is made from a Christmas card sent by Alton Purnell.
